We had an incredible time at Beyond Expo in Greece, where we joined forces with AWS for three packed days of tech, talks, and fun.
The event brought together a fantastic mix of AI innovators, robotics companies, and cloud experts, all under one roof.
We saw everything from helpful robots to real-world AI use cases transforming both the public and private sectors.
The energy was high, with presentations and speeches from experts of all kinds - researchers, engineers, founders, and visionaries.
At our booth, visitors got to test their wits with not one, but two interactive challenges:
- The “Real or AI?” image quiz, where over 120 participants tried to tell human-made from machine-made visuals - only one person got all ten right (we’re still wondering if they might’ve been AI themselves…)
- A Word Search challenge, where attendees hunted down hidden cloud and AI-themed words for the chance to win some goodies.
Speaking of goodies, we had something for everyone, plus a few extra-special treats for those who nailed the games.
We also had loads of great conversations with students beginning their cloud journeys, professors mentoring the next generation, and fellow IT enthusiasts excited about the possibilities of AI.
And yes, we even bumped into some of our competitors. Always lovely to see familiar faces in the wild… especially when we can beat them at word games (kidding… mostly).
A huge thanks to the other exhibitors who brought music, snacks, and drinks to the floor. You made the whole experience even more enjoyable and our playlists a little better.
Finally, we were proud to present a powerful real-world AI use case: Thanasis Politis, our Solutions Architect, teamed up with Dr Tolias Kyriakos, Director of the National Documentation Centre (EKT), to talk about how we’re using LLMs and Amazon Bedrock to streamline daily workflows. The AI assistant solution we built helps boost efficiency, improve response times, and unlock smarter data analysis and it was great to share the impact this kind of innovation is already making.
