Great news for Google Workspace customers and users: The integrated AI power of Gemini is now included for everyone with Business and Enterprise licenses.
Google is convinced that AI is the foundation for the future of work and should be made accessible to every company and every employee at an affordable price. For this reason, Google has decided to include its AI solution Gemini in the Workspace Business and Enterprise plans, making the latest generative AI functions available to business customers without the need to purchase an add-on.

Rollout of Gemini for Google Workspace starts now
The following AI features are rolling out now for Google Workspace Business customers and later this month for Enterprise customers:
- Get AI support in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat, Vids and more: Get your work done faster with AI embedded in the tools you use every day. Gemini optimizes your communication by helping you summarize, draft, and find information in your emails, chats, and files, and fosters creativity.
- Chat with Gemini Advanced, Google's next-generation AI: Gemini Advanced can help you tackle complex projects like coding, research, and data analysis, and allows you to create Gems.
- Unleash the power of NotebookLM Plus: We're making the revolutionary AI research assistant available to every employee to help them understand complex topics. Upload sources to get instant insights and audio summaries, then share customized notebooks with the team to accelerate their learning and onboarding.
Simplified pricing with AI included, big savings for many businesses
By eliminating the need to pay for the Gemini add-on, Google is simplifying licensing models and pricing. For example, a customer previously using the Workspace Business Standard plan with a Gemini Business add-on paid $32 per user per month. Now that same customer pays just $14 per user per month—just $2 more than they paid for Workspace without Gemini.
For more information on updated pricing and feature availability by edition, please visit the Google Help Center. These prices apply to new customers effective immediately. For existing customers, monthly subscription prices will be updated as of March 17, 2025, or on the renewal date with an annual/fixed price plan, whichever is later. Very small businesses are not currently subject to price changes.

- Your data is your data: Google does not use your data, prompts, and generated responses to train Gemini models outside of your domain without your consent. Google does not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Gemini only retrieves relevant data that users have permission to access. Your existing Workspace data security and sovereignty controls are automatically applied.
- You can stay compliant: Gemini for Workspace and the Gemini app are one of the first generative AI productivity solutions to receive a comprehensive set of security, privacy, and safety certifications, including SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001/17/18, and ISO 42001, and can help you meet HIPAA compliance.
