Public Cloud Group (PCG) has successfully confirmed its AWS Premier Partner Status. This designation represents the highest tier within the AWS Partner Network and is awarded to partners who demonstrate deep technical expertise, proven project success, and strong customer outcomes at scale.
Confirmed Premier Expertise Across All European Markets
PCG has been an AWS Premier Partner for several years. With the latest achievements of its European teams, PCG has once again reaffirmed this status, underscoring its ability to deliver AWS projects at the highest level—regardless of country or industry. For customers, this means consistent quality and delivery standards across all markets where PCG operates.
“The Premier Partner Status is an important recognition of the expertise and professionalism of our entire team,” said Thorsten Raquet, CEO of Public Cloud Group. “It demonstrates that we reliably support customers from strategic consulting through to the operation of their AWS environments—delivering the same high quality across all our markets.”
Comprehensive Services for AWS Customers – With a Strong Focus on AI
PCG’s AWS team includes more than 180 experts across Europe, supporting organizations along their entire AWS Cloud Journey—from initial strategy development and migration to modernization projects, security optimization, cloud-native software development, and ongoing operations through Managed Cloud Operations.
A particular focus is Data & AI: PCG works closely with customers to design tailored AI scenarios that deliver measurable business benefits, including more efficient processes, faster innovation, and new digital services. With its proprietary AIHub, PCG also provides a secure platform for enterprise-grade generative AI, helping organizations implement practical use cases that create long-term value.
In addition, specialized SAP experts manage the migration and operation of complex SAP landscapes on AWS, including RISE with SAP.
One example of successful collaboration is freenet: “PCG supported us in modernizing and migrating critical workloads to AWS Cloud—in record time of just a few months. The cooperation was collaborative, pragmatic, and always solution-oriented. For us, the close integration of consulting, implementation, and operations was decisive in ensuring a smooth and efficient transformation,” said Andreas Jürgensen, Head of Infrastructure and Supervisory Board Member at freenet.
“This recognition is above all a credit to our team,” said David Müller, Business Unit Director AWS at PCG. “In recent years, we have shown that we can translate deep technical expertise into scalable, successful customer projects while continuously evolving our capabilities. Especially in the field of Data & AI, we deliver measurable value with innovative approaches and tools like our AIHub. The Premier Partner Status confirms that we maintain this quality consistently across all locations.”
Close Collaboration with AWS – Including Strategic Initiatives
PCG was also recently named an official Launch Partner of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). This new AWS Region, set to launch in Brandenburg (Germany) by the end of 2025, will allow organizations of all industries to process sensitive data in a cloud environment that is fully operated and managed within the EU. Being named a Launch Partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud further highlights PCG’s early involvement in strategic AWS initiatives and its role in preparing customers for upcoming regulatory and technological requirements.
