BU PCG X Google in Germany, part of Public Cloud Group (PCG), today announced that it has received the 2023 Google Cloud Sales Partner of the Year Award for the region of Germany. The Google Cloud Partner of the Year Awards recognise partners world-wide committed to leading with a customer-first vision and creating industry-leading solutions with Google Cloud.

BU PCG X Google in Germany was recognised for their achievements in the Google Cloud ecosystem, helping joint customers such as E.ON, Burger King, Breuninger, USU and Meister mastering their journey into the Google Cloud and transforming their way of modern work. After receiving the prestigious MSP status as the first local Google Cloud Partner in Germany some months ago, this is the next big achievement the fast-growing Google Cloud partner has obtained this year.

“Congrats Team BU PCG X Google! What a great recognition for your exceptional work within the last year. Looking forward to continuing the growth journey together with you.”, says Bernd Stopper, Director Partner Business Google Cloud EMEA North.

Benny Woletz, Managing Director at BU PCG X Google in Germany adds: “We are proud that our exceptional expertise and experience is not only valued by our customers, but also by our trusted hyperscaler. This clearly shows that we are one of the leading Google Cloud Partners in Germany.”.

With hundreds of successful Google Cloud projects in 2022, BU PCG X Google is the trusted service provider in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for Google Cloud solutions in the field of cloud migration, cloud security, managed cloud operations as well as cloud-native app dev and modern work with Google Workspace and Chrome Enterprise.

Kick-off for further European expansion

BU PCG X Google in Germany, the Google-specialised business unit of PCG, has been a firm authority on Google Cloud Platform and Workspace solutions in Germany and Austria for more than a decade.

The team, now around 80 experts strong, is now planning further European expansion in Switzerland and Sweden, backed by the successful award in Germany.

In both countries, the expertise is to be carried out through organic growth and specialisation by employees.

In particular, the geographical expansion of expertise demonstrates the added value of PCG. Miracle Mill, part of the Public Cloud Group since August 2022, is already operating successfully in the Swedish market with a 100-strong team. This team will drive forward the expansion of the Google division there. The German-speaking team of BU PCG X Google will take over the development and expansion in Switzerland.

"The further expansion of our Google expertise is the next sensible step. We are already one of the top Google Cloud Partners in Germany and look back on a remarkably long period of successful collaboration. It is time to expand this expertise across more countries," concludes Thorsten Raquet, Chief Operations Officer at PCG.
