ISG (Information Services Group) has released the results of its "2024 Provider Lens™ Google Cloud Partner Ecosystem" study. The European cloud partner Public Cloud Group (PCG) has been named a "Rising Star" in the Implementation & Integration Services segment for Google Cloud in Europe.
The Study
The "2024 ISG Provider Lens™ Google Cloud Partner Ecosystem Report" examines the strengths, challenges, and competitive advantages of 43 certified Google Cloud partners in Europe. The study evaluates providers across five quadrants: Implementation & Integration Services, Data Analytics & Machine Learning, Managed Services, SAP Workloads, and Workspace Services.
ISG analyzes the market positioning and capabilities of Google Cloud Partners. The assessment is based on the depth and breadth of the service offering as well as the market presence of the providers. The "Implementation & Integration Services" quadrant includes services such as designing, building, and migrating data workloads and applications to Google Cloud, developing cloud-native applications, and supporting hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
PCG Recognized as "Rising Star"
As a Google Cloud Premier Partner and Managed Service Provider (MSP), PCG experts have been supporting companies of all sizes and industries on their journey to Google Cloud since 2008. This extensive experience and comprehensive service offering led to PCG's inclusion in the ISG study and recognition as a "Rising Star" in the "Implementation & Integration Services" quadrant in 2024.
Mark Purdy of ISG emphasizes: "PCG possesses profound expertise in its infrastructure projects on Google Cloud. This expertise and the rapidly growing customer base make PCG a 'Rising Star' in the field of implementation and integration services for Google Cloud in Europe."
Challenges and Opportunities for European Companies
The study indicates that European companies are increasingly turning to Google Cloud providers to structure their data and lay the foundation for successful AI and ML models. Providers in the Google ecosystem help companies move beyond the hype of generative AI and identify practical use cases.
PCG offers comprehensive services, including migration, implementation, modernization, and integration services. These services help customers achieve their goals, such as reducing data storage and management costs, improving scalability and control over diverse data sources, expanding the application of ML, and monetizing data.
Outlook and Goals
ISG expects that the Rising Stars will reach the Leader quadrant within the next 12 to 24 months if they continue to demonstrate above-average market impact and innovation.
Benny Woletz, Managing Director of PCG and Business Unit Director of the Google Cloud division, emphasizes: "The recognition as a Rising Star highlights our achievements, growth, and development in recent years. Our goal is to reach the Leader quadrant. We have the know-how, experience, and experts that companies in Europe need for a successful journey into and through Google Cloud."
