No in-house IT, no problems: FC St. Pauli relies on Zero-IT strategy with Microsoft Azure

Fußball-Club St. Pauli von 1910 e. V. (St. Pauli Football Club of 1910), or FC St. Pauli for short, is a multi-sport club based in the St. Pauli district of Hamburg, Germany. It began its existence in 1899 as a loose, informal group of football enthusiasts and was officially founded in 1910. Today it has 24 departments.

FC St. Pauli pursues a Zero-IT approach and does not have its own IT department. The challenge was therefore to find a suitable partner who could take over the setup, operation and further development of the Microsoft Azure environment. The need was clear: a reliable, secure and flexible IT infrastructure that can be effectively managed without in-house IT personnel.
