GenAI can also make a valuable contribution to security. 56% of organisations report an improvement in their security posture through the use of GenAI. In particular, threat detection and response times are significantly improved by AI-based security solutions.

The study also highlights the importance of strong management support for GenAI initiatives. Organisations with such support are more likely to achieve an ROI of at least 6%.
